We need rain!!!!!
Sorry I haven't written anything in a while. I've been so busy. I just
wanted to mention that we are having a horrible drought. We have had
less than two inches of rain since April. We need rain!!! So if you're
the praying type could you please pray for rain? They are even banning
fireworks and restricting water (which I never remember happening
around here, but I grew up with well water, so it might have happened
before, not sure). We're not allowed to water anything outside,
including gardens and I'm assuming they mean our animals too? I'm just
thankful we have two ponds on the lease land!! So anyway, everyone is
doing okay here, we just need rain and a respite from the heat (it's
been over 100F everyday for months - this sort of weather usually
doesn't start until August). Thanks guys. I'll try to get caught up on
all of your blogs and start writing in mine again soon. I hope
everyone is doing great! If I've missed anything important in your life
you can leave a comment and I'll come see your blog first (instead of
going in order on Google Reader). :)
Yeah, we have no rain either and the poor horses are back on hay for over a month now. So sucks. The whole USA is having crazy weather!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could send you some (or a lot) of our rain!! We had record rainfall for the month of June and so far July has started wet as well.
ReplyDeleteHope it cools down for you and that you get some of the wet stuff!!
Same weather here in Indiana - temps in the high 90's to 100's - no rain - everything dried up. Fireworks have been banned everywhere around us also. Praying for a cool down and some rain for our area and yours!
ReplyDeleteWish we could send you some. We've had lots of rain!
ReplyDeleteWe also have a new gang member, a gorgeous rescued black Percheron stallion called Urey. His story is on last Sunday's blog post.
Hope you get some rain soon, we've had record rainfall here and flooding in some areas. The weather is crazy mixed up stuff at the moment.
ReplyDeleteWill hope for rain for you, do the same for me too. We haven't had almost any rain since mid-May and I am not sure how I will have hay for winter. They are saying they may not get a second cutting and my hay guy only had 57 bales left of first cutting, I bought them all :(
