The rest of the pictures....

Here are the pictures I've been trying to post for days now.  The horses were feeling spunky and I tried to get some pictures.  Most of the action shots came out blurry, but I'm posting them anyway because they are so cute.  :)

Faran was spooking at something.  Seeing such a huge Percheron slam on the brakes is funny lol.

My handsome boy coming to see why I'm hiding behind a tree lol.

One of the blurry ones.  I wish I could have gotten some good ones of him bucking.  He was having so much fun.

Handsome Faran.  That's rain on his back, not sweat.  :)

This would have been so perfect if the tree and feeder weren't in the way.  Such a Friesian trot!

Blurry, but pretty trot.

Cantering and tossing his head.  I love this shot.  :)

This is another one of my favorites.  :D

Still goofing off.

Yawning, but it looks like he's braying lol.

Not my favorite gallop stride, but it still turned out pretty good.  :)

The rest of these are from the other day after our ride.  I was letting him graze...

...and he decided to go exploring.  The roof is barely inches above his withers.  Not exactly meant for horses lol.

Sleepwalking... haha, just kidding, he blinked.  :)

You know why his lips are wet?

Because he was playing in the water, but it's well water and he's not used to how it smells hehe.  :D  It took a couple of days, but he did start drinking out of it.  There is still water in the pond, but I figured I would get him used to this water because the pond keeps drying up in the summer.

Anyway that's all for now.  I need to go mow at the old house because it's almost time for the renters to move in!

P.S.  The reason Zep is missing is because I'm saving all of his pictures for Donkey Day.  Sorry I've been missing them lately.

  1. I wish the one photo had been clearer - he really is showing his Friesian side in it!

  2. He has really been filling out and looks more grown up! I love the ones of him bucking. Dickies bucks are terrifying because he gets several feet off the ground and I know he's going to try it under saddle.
