Day Thirteen: 30 Day Horse Challenge

Day Thirteen: A picture of your worst riding.

I don't know if this was my worst riding, but it's the worst picture I have of my riding lol.

Being a typical off the track Thoroughbred Finnegan had no clue how to walk over ground poles (and yes those are small trees cut into poles lol), so that's what we were working on. I don't know if you can tell, but in this picture he's actually standing on the pole with his left hind lol! Anyway in this picture I was a teenager and the reason I don't like it is because the saddle didn't fit either of us (all I could afford), my leg isn't long enough (stirrups may have been too short), I'm looking down at him and urging him forward which has caused my core to collapse and my shoulders to slouch and I don't even know what's going on with my hands lol. Anyway that's all I have hehe.

    That's hilarious! I cringe at some of my old riding pictures. That's a classic. :-)

    Oh terrible posture in the saddle. Not helpful at all. Poor you, poor horse.
